Mary Weaver, Partner

The meeting of practical business expertise with creative talents brings a unique combination of skills which Mary has leveraged with many businesses and clients.

Currently a Partner at Chris Carey Advisors, Mary works with clients to improve business performance, raise capital and advise on mergers and acquisitions.  She leads engagements to develop and then execute on a strategic plan to increase the value of the clients’ business.

After her early experience at Applied Data Research, a software company out of Princeton, New Jersey, Mary co-founded Datatec Systems, Inc., a New Jersey based, and eventually publicly traded, technology professional services business.  Acquired through a management buyout, the company’s revenue was only $500,000 with a single office and 9 employees.  By the time she left, the company had grown to $94 million in revenue operating out of 20 offices in the US and Canada with over 750 associates.  The company became the largest technology deployment services firm in the US.  Mary was the Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for all technology services, managing the deployment of hundreds of installers throughout the US and Canada.

After the sale of Datatec, she became Head of Operations for Stronghold Technologies, Inc. and then Chief Operating Officer of Gander.tv, an internet based company streaming shows from performance venues.

Mary attended Indiana University and Ramapo College of New Jersey. A performer at heart, Mary has been a featured singer at some of the leading performance venues in New York City.   She lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her husband Chris and enjoys having her children and grandchildren close by.
